I'm a perfect low-maintenence plant. I'm happy as a stand-alone plant in a pot, or I look great when grouped with other anenome to make a real impact statement in a container or at the front of the border. I have a long flowering period throughout April and May! My ancestors were originally from across Europe and my name derives from the Greek Anemos meaning “wind” because it was thought my flowers would only open if the wind blew on them … not true! If I'm in a pot I’d be grateful if you make sure there is good drainage at the bottom.

Anenome Coronaria

  • Maybe 20cm x 20cm by the end of summer.
