I'm a perfect low-maintenence plant. I'm happy as a stand-alone plant in a pot, or I can be grouped with other geums to make a real impact statement in a container or at the front of the border. I have a long flowering period - all summer long! My ancestors were originally from across temperate regions, but my closest relatives were found in the Chilean Andes, so I can cope with harsh conditions, but I don’t really like standing in baking hot sun for long periods. If I'm in a pot I’d be grateful if you make sure there is good drainage at the bottom.
