My stunning orchid-like flowers come in a range of contrasting vivid colours, and although they might only last for a day or so, be patient because more will follow from the same bud. I'm originally from the dry and rocky areas of Mexico, so as you can imagine I prefer sun and a well-drained soil, and I won't flower as well if you put me in a cool shady spot. I might look like I'm bursting with nectar, but unfortunately I'm not quite as nourishing for bees or butterflies compared to native wild flowers.
