I'm a real show-stopper in any tropical-style garden. I love being in a border alongside other plants, and I'm also happy in pots. My vibrant orange flowers are actually modified leaves called spathes. I’m originally found across warmer areas of South Africa. I was named after the Italian botanist Giovanni Zantedeschi.

I trace my ancestry to South Africa, where my brothers and sisters are often considered a troublesome weed.
