Banana plants

The classic plant for any tropical garden. Banana plants are happy in borders or pots. They love British summers, and will thrive in a sunny border or a pot. Give them a regular drink and liquid feed and they'll look amazing right up to the first frosts of winter.

Elephants' ears

Ferns

Ferns prefer a slightly shady, damp spot. They earn their place in a tropical garden with their large bright green fronds which bring a sense of a prehistoric lost world.
