Tropical plants
Big, bold leaves. Vivid flowers. Welcome to the exciting world of tropical plants. Here’s a flavour of the types of tropical plants you can find at a Mango pop-up.
Banana plants
The classic plant for any tropical garden. Banana plants are happy in borders or pots. They love British summers, and will thrive in a sunny border or a pot. Give them a regular drink and liquid feed and they'll look amazing right up to the first frosts of winter.
Bedding
Tropical flowers that look wonderful in a border or a pot. Perfect for people with smaller gardens, in a pot on your patio, or perfect for a balcony.
Elephants' ears
The large-leaved colocasias are a family of clump-forming plants with large leaves that hang down like elephants' ears. They're great in pots or borders. They are thirsty plants so make sure they don't dry out.
Ferns
Ferns prefer a slightly shady, damp spot. They earn their place in a tropical garden with their large bright green fronds which bring a sense of a prehistoric lost world.
Climbers
Climbers gotta climb, baby! These tropical climbing plants will give you a stunning display of flowers right through to the first frosts.
